Fiber Preparation Seminar - Diana Blair & Bruce MacLean. "From Field to Finished Fiber" is very informative 2 hour seminar in helping all fiber livestock breeders get the most benefit out of their herd. We will be going from the shearing point all the way to the finished yarn and how to market it. How the different types of alpaca fiber grades determine the type of mill processing to get the best finished product with the highest yield is included in this seminar. |

Nutrition Seminar – Marlin Statema from LMF Feed – “Is your alpaca diet really balanced?" Based on scientific research in the Pacific Northwest. This seminar is a must for anyone raising livestock in the Pacific Northwest. Not only do you need the correct nutrients, you need them to be balanced with one another and in the proper form. manufacturer of harness, halters and other equipment for packing and carting. Watch and learn from Barb as she sets up her
Llamas for packing and puts them in harness for carting. Barb also will be carting around the venue
during the day, even with a double hitch of Llamas strutting their stuff.
Llama Rescue booth will be staffed during the day on Saturday and
Sunday inside the Atrium. There are a number of nice Llamas in the area who need good homes. They make great guardians for Alpaca herds.

Barb will be there all day to answer questions and discuss working with Llamas & talk about her equipment.
Dixie Hogland will have one of her award-winning show Llamas at the site to show the comparison between working Llamas and excellent fiber Llamas. This is a wonderful chance to learn about these interesting animals and Barb just might give you a ride in her cart.
